community educational center society has been formed by people who have dedicated their services to bring a lasting change in the lives of children in difficult circumstances . cecs has been actively working since 2001 for the welfare of the children especially among the child labour, street children, orphans, maidservants and under privileged children.
 
Success Stories Of The Children...
Aimong
Aimong is 7 years old and he is studying in Class A in Community Educational centre school and he belong to Khiamniungan tribe. He lives with his family in Master colony, Nagarjan Dimapur. His parents could not sponsor his studies and they could not buy books and because of this he had to leave the school last year. But this year because of the sponsorship of SSA he is able to come to our school daily and now he has books to study. Thanks to SSA for shaping the life of this child and for bringing a smile in the face of this little boy.
Khongkhoa
Khongkhoa is 11 years old and he is studying in Class 4 in Community Educational Centre Residential School. He belong to Khiamniungan tribe his parents are farmers and could not look after him and so he is now staying with his grandparents in Dimapur. The grandparents also could not support their studies as they are quite old and poor but thanks to SSA this child can come to our school and now he can receive quality education and attend regular classes. He is a beneficiary of the CEC Residential camp.
Naheyoa
Naheyoa is 14 years old and she is studying in Class 6 in Community Educational Centre School she belong to Konyak tribe. She has to leave home because her parents are farmers and they do not have any income to support the family and so in order to support her family she had to come to Dimapur and work as a housemaid in other people’s house. When she came to Dimapur she did not even dream that she can go to school. But thanks to SSA she now can come to school in the afternoon after she finishes her morning chores and attend classes regularly.
Jechoi
Jechoi is 7 years old and she is studying in Class A in Community Educational Centre School . She belong to Khiamniungan tribe. Her parents are farmers and and lives in the village and due to the large family set up her parents cannot support the whole family and look after the education of the children and because of which she had to come to Dimapur and stay with her relatives. She did not go to school when she was in the village but after she came to Dimapur she goes to school. Thanks to SSA for saving this little girl’s life and for opening the door for the future for her.
Thongthan
Thongthan is 14 years old and he is studying in Class 5 in Community Educational Centre School . He stays with his uncle in Dimapur because his parents are in the village and could not support his studies. He is now able to go to school because of SSA . Thanks to SSA for making this little boy’s dream come true. He is also a beneficiaries of residential camp at CEC.
